Zahid Mehmood

Zahid Mehmood is the Associate Director of Information Security Risk Management at Columbia University Information Technology (CUIT).  With over 20 years in the field, his work centers on cybersecurity, cloud security, and enterprise tech risk. He works across Columbia’s academic and administrative units to maintain secure and reliable operations in a highly decentralized environment. Before joining the University, Zahid held technical roles in the financial services and telecommunications industries. He earned his MS in Technology Management from Columbia (SPS ’09).
