Ulrich Hengst
Sen. Ulrich Hengst, PhD, is Professor of Pathology and Cell Biology (in the Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer’s Disease and the Aging Brain) and Vice Chair for Research and Training in his department. His research focuses on the cell biology of neurodegeneration and neuronal resilience. Dr. Hengst holds a PhD from the University of Basel (Switzerland) and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Bochum (Germany).
