Felix Vazquez
Sen. Felix Vazquez (he/him) is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School (Class of 2028) and a Consortium Fellow. He earned a BA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he served as an academic advisor, instructor, and teaching assistant and published research on Tokyo’s urban development. He returned to his hometown of Los Angeles to teach 5th grade Social Studies at Wildwood School, then brought that classroom experience to other schools as a curriculum design consultant. Before Columbia, he worked in strategy consulting at The Kosa Group. At CBS, Felix serves as academic chair on his cluster board and holds roles in the Hispanic Business Association and on the Mentorship Committee of the CBS chapter of The Consortium. As a University Senator, Felix plans to bring CBS priorities to the Student Affairs Committee, report back to classmates regularly, and look for places where one school’s solution can work for another. Working in and for academic institutions is his love language, and he sees the Senate as the place to do that work at Columbia’s scale.
