Nominations Now Open for Senate-Consulted Trustees
The University Senate is seeking to include the community in the trustee-nomination process.
Columbia University's Board of Trustees consists of 24 members:
- 12 seats are appointed by the Board
- 6 seats are appointed from among Senate-Consulted Trustees nominations
- 6 seats are appointed from among Columbia Alumni Association nominations
If you have someone who you think would be a good candidate, please fill out this form. Trustees cannot be a current Officer of the University and they must have some tie to Columbia. Nominations should not violate the Columbia University Conflict of Interest policy. Nominations to Senate-Consulted seats will be reviewed by the Executive Committee of the University Senate and submitted to the Board of Trustees for consideration and confirmation.
